New soundtrack releases were presented on February 2, 2020, at the the XXVII edition of Music Day, Rome record fair.
The first one was the box set Lucio Fulci’s Gates of Hell Trilogy, containing the soundtracks to three fundamental films by the Roman director, City of the Living Dead and The Beyond, composed by Fabio Frizzi, and to the film The House by the Cemetery, composed by Walter Rizzati. The box set, consisting of three CDs and a 40-pages booklet full of photographs, is published by Beat Records.
The same record company has also released a double CD containing the soundtracks to the films Warriors of the Year 2072, by Lucio Fulci, and The House on the Edge of the Park, by Ruggero Deodato, both composed by Riz Ortolani. The two soundtracks were also released on vinyl by Death Waltz Records.
Finally, it was the turn of the soundtrack to the film God Under the Skin, by Folco Quilici, composed by Piero Piccioni and published on vinyl by Sonor Music Editions and Musica per Immagini.
The meeting was attended by Antonella Fulci, daughter of director Lucio Fulci, composer Fabio Frizzi, director Ruggero Deodato, record producers Daniele De Gemini, Lorenzo Fabrizi, Claudio Fuiano, and was moderated by Marco Ferretti.
